Mike Makin

Strata Management

Mike brings to our Strata Management department a wealth of experience in the banking business. He worked for 20 years in Canada for a major Canadian bank managing two branches and spending his last few years in Canada as a Corporate Lender in the highly competitive Toronto market. Mike transferred to the Cayman Islands in charge of all lending for his bank and he eventually moved to a new bank as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for all areas within this bank and its branches in the Caymans and The Turks and Caicos Islands. Mike will put this experience to work for the strata corporations in his care.  He looks forward to working with the highly professional staff at Coldwell Banker Horizon Realty and providing the highest quality strata management to his clients.

Gunnar Forsstrom

Gunnar Forsstrom, a 35 year resident of Kelowna, brings a well rounded wealth of experience and knowledge to our team. As a licensed Strata Manager, Gunnar has managed a variety of properties ranging from 20-500 units. A former realtor, Gunnar has worked in media & communications in the private and public sector and operated his own business. He studied conflict resolution and earned his degree from UBC Okanagan. As well, Gunnar has a lengthy record of volunteer and community service. Gunnar brings his expertise, energy and commitment to excellence to ensure Coldwell Banker's clients receive the best possible service.

Andrew brings to our Strata Management team a solid background in large high rise Strata's as well as resort vacation, commercial and mixed use Strata Corporations. A licensed Strata Manager, Andrew has managed Strata Corporations in the Toronto and Vancouver markets. A former realtor in Alberta and licensed insurance agent, Andrew also has operated his own Computer business in the Lower Mainland and also has a degree in the communication field. Andrew brings to Coldwell Banker a wide range of experience in order to provide his customers the highest level of service possible.

Maintenance Supervisor

Jamie has been in the construction industry for 17 years with experience in home re-finishing, heavy timber projects, building hospitals, schools, daycare centers, repairing Vancouver’s Sea Wall, retaining walls, etc.  He also has experience with leaky condos through a previous employer in Vancouver and other areas of British Columbia.  Jamie is available for our residential as well as our commercial properties.
